Hospital Indemnity Insurance through The Harford pays you a cash benefit if you are hospitalized for either injury or illness. This coverage applies to stays related to childbirth as well. This benefit pays independently of any other insurance that you have and is not taxable. You can enroll your dependents when you elect this benefit for yourself.
